The age of two people is in the ratio 6:6. if the sum of their ages is 44.after how many years would the ratio be 8:7?

Solution
The ratio given is 6:6 means both are same in age it means it will be impossible to make their age ratio 8:7
now if we consider the suggestion given by RISHABH, then
present ratio = 6:5 = 24:20 sum of ages = 44 so ages are 24 and 20
let after x years ratio will be 8:7 , so (24+x)/(20+x) = 8/7
on solving the equation we get x = 8
