Arjun and Barun walk at a speed of 5 km/hr and 4 km/hr respectively. Each of them can drive a car at 30 km/hr and cycle at 15 km/hr. There are three places to be visited-1. Water kingdom2. Nicco-Park3. Science CityIn order to reduce traffic and promote fuel efficient travel routes, the places are connected to each other through independent walk, car and cycle paths. The places are connected together such that.In Between : Water – kingdom and Nicco-park – The car route is 60% longer than the walk route and 20% longer than the cycle route. In Between : Nicco-park and Science City – The car route is 25% longer than the walk and 10% longer than the cycle path. There is no independent path between water-kingdom and science city. From anywhere along the path (car or cycle) one can get on to the walk path and vice-versa in10 minutes. It may be assumed that when a person moves from the first path to the second path and vice-versa, he moves in such a way that he reaches a point on the walk path which is exactly at a proportional distance to the distance already covered in the first path.Read the following information to answer the next questions.Question: Barun starts walking from Nicco-park towards Science City. After an hour , Arjun starts in a car from Water-kingdom, reaches Nicco-park and continues towards Science – City. At what point on the walk path from Nicco-park to Science City should Barun leave the walk path and proceed towards the car path so that he may get a lift from Arjun? [Such that, Barun gets on to the car path at the same time and at the same point as Arjun reaches there]. The length of the walk route between Water-kingdom and Nicco-Park, and Nicco-Park and Science City is the same [31.25 km]

1) 12 km
