Therefore to reduce the time by 6 times, workers should be increased by 6 times

4 man minutes are reqd for typing 2 pages.
For 18 pages, 36 man minutes are required.
so 36/6 = 6 workers are reqd to type 18 pages in 6 mins.

answer: 6 persons.
2 persons does 2 pages in 2 mins.
1 persons does 1 page in 2 mins.
1 persons does 18 pages in 2x18 mins= 6x6mins
therefore 6 persons does 18 pages in 6 mins.

by using formula we can take
m1*t1 m2*t2
------------ = -------------
w1 w2

(2*2)/2 =(x*6)/18

by solving ans is ----------6
6 person need to complete this task.

If two typists can type two pages in two minutes, then each one can type one page in two minutes, so he can type half page in a minute.
A typist that can type half page in a minute can type ,in 6 minutes, (0.5 * 6) pages, or 3 pages per minute; but we need 18 pages, so we need (18/3) typists, or 6 typists.
