let at the end of 1994 grand mother's age is x
and rohit's age x/2
then we can say....birth year of GM is =(1994-x)
and rohit is = (1994 - x/2)
sum of years is 3844
i.e (1994 -x) + (1994 - x/2) = 3884
=> x = 96
i.e GM age is 96
so rohit age will be 96/2 = 48 years
in 1994 age is 48
1995 49
1996 50
1997 51
1998 52
1999 53
so ans should be 53 years.......

Ans=53 years
At the end of 1994,if rohit's age=x,then grandmother's age=2x
Birth year of Rohit=(1994-x) & Grandmother=(1994-2x)
Given=(1994-x)+(1994-2x)=3844 ->x=48=Rohit age
So at the end of 1999 Rohit's age=48+5=53 years

he was born in 1946.
his grandmother was born in 1898.

let rohit age x and grandmother 2x so
(1994-x)+(1994-2x)=3844
x=48 (it is at 1994) Now
at end of 1999
there is difference of 5 So
48+5=53

if rohit's year of birth x then 2(1994-x)=1994-3844+x
=>x=1946.........1999-1946=53 is the answer

(1994-r)+(1994-g)=3844
(1994-g/2)+(1994-g)=3844
g=48yrs
1999-1994=5yrs
so, ans:48+5=53yrs

1994-x + 1994-x/2 = 3844
which gives x = 96 which means at 1994 grand mother age was 6 which mean rohit is 48 years old on that time so in 1999 he will be 53 years old
