ans is 3999960..
there are 24 no. starting with 1...similarly starting with 2,3,4,5... 24 numbers each
in all 120 nos.
for 10 thousand place..1 occurs 24 times, 2 occurs 24 times..similarly 3, 4,5 occurs 24 times each...so for 10 thousand place ..sum is 24*10000*(1+2+3+4+5)
similarly for thousand place 24*1000*(1+2+3+4+5)
for hundred place 24*100*15
for tens place 24*10*15
for unit place 25*1*15
adding all as..(240000+24000+2400+240+24)*15=3999960

I think this formula useful for this type problems..
(sum of digits)*(n-1)!(11111......n times)
here n means no. of numbers in the problem
for example in given problem n=5;

Reverse your approach and start from unit place..
