sum of 8 no.is=656
so avg= 656/8=82
s0. no. are 75,77,79,81,83,85,87,89
avg of even no. is=87
so no. are 84,86,88,90
o sum=75+88=163

According to question , the numbers are consecutive.so,they must be in AP.

so, let first number be A.

(8/2)*(2A+7*2)=656
=>A=75

Similarly, let first even number be B.
(4/2)*(2B+6)=87*4
=> B=84
so, even numbers are 84,86,88,92
so, SUM=88+75=163

3 is the right answer.

suppose
eight consecutive odd no.is x+x+2+x+4+x+6+x+8+x+10+x+12=656
so 8x+56=656
x=75 i.e first no 75 so next no. is 75+2=77
79,81,83,85,87,89
now given avg. of even no. is 87
so remaining four even no. is 84,86,88,90
so sum=75+88=163
