5/10 = (5x5)/(10xd2)
therefore number of days equal to 5 days

5 persons, 1 time work, in 5/5= 1 day
10=5*2 persons, 1 time work in 1/2 days , So
10 persons , 10 time work in 10*1/2=5 days

work = Time * persons
if the work and persons are increased by same proportion then the change in the time is constant.

person time amount of work
1) 5 5 days 5x (let work be x)
2) 10 t 10x

(persons*time)/work
i.e. (5*5)/5x=(10*t)/10x
therefore t=(5*5*2)/10
t=5 days.
