Answer is 2 cakes...

According to the condition, "Each gatekeeper will take half of the cake he has and will give one piece back to him",
At the first gate, 2/2=1 cake is with the boy and the gatekeeper returns one cake. So 1+1=2.
So, the boy again has 2 cakes.
Similar steps for all the gatekeepers.
Finally he will give 2 cakes to his friend.

He should carry 2 cakes initially
Whenever he is entering the bridge, he have to give half of the number of cakes he has. So, if he has 2 Cakes then he will give one piece to gatekeeper. According to the condition GateKeeper has to give 1 piece back to him. Hence he will again pass out the bridge with 2 Cakes.
This continues till he meets his friend on the other end of the jungle. Then he can give that two pieces to him/her.

The man should initially carry 2 pieces of cakes
Half of 2 is 1 which he will give it to the gate keeper and will get 1 in return.Finally he will have 2 pieces at the end

i think it is 256
in 7th gate he should give half so 2+2=4
in 6th gate he should give half so 4+4=8
in 5th gate he should give half so 8+8=16
in 4th gate he should give half so 16+16=32
in 3rd gate he should give half so 32+32=64
in 2nd gate he should give half so 64+64=128
in 1st gate he should give half so 128+128=256

initially the man will give half of the number of cakes that he is taking with him to the first gatekeeper,the condition is the gatekeeper has to give one cake piece to him,if the gatekeeper returns the one cake he got then the man will get back his two cakes ,This repeats for all the seven gatekeepers,So the man takes two cake pieces to his friend at the other end of the jungle

The Answer is 2 cakes...
Because,
According to the condition, "Each gatekeeper will take half of the cake the boy has and will give one piece back to him again", which reveals that,
At the first gate, 2/2=1 cake is with the boy and the gatekeeper returns one cake. So 1+1=2.
So, the boy again has 2 cakes.
Similarly it happens for all the gatekeepers.
Finally he will give 2 cakes to his friend.

x:y = 2:1
x -> Time taken to solve Math Question
y -> Time taken to solve Non Math Question

Ratio of Math To Non math questions is 25;75 = 1:3

Hence, Ratio of Time taken to solve math question to non math question is (1*2):(3*1) = 2:3

Therefore, Time taken to solve one part is 120/5 = 24 mins.

Time taken to solve Math question part is 2*24 = 48 mins
Time taken to solve Non Math question part is 3*24 = 72 mins

initialy he carries 2 cakes.. the first gatekeeper gets half of the cake ie) 1 and gives 1 back.. so, he again carries 2 cakes... in a similar manner he crosses the other 6 gates and finaly gives his friend 2 cakes.
