8 men work done =12 days
if single work have to complet in half days imn 6 days
then doube the worker so it will be 16 men
then for 2 similar work we required 16+16=32 men
we have already 8 men
now we required only 32-8=24 men

For the same work to be completed in 6 days, 8*2=16 men are required(* time halved, men doubled)
So for double work to be completed in 6 days, total 16*2=32 men are required.
So additional men required=32-8=24

According to question,
1 work complete in 12 days by 8 men, so in 1 day they will complete 1/(12*8) works by 1 men.
2 works complete in 6 days, so in 1 day they will complete 2/6 works.
1/(12*8) works complete by 1 man
2/6 works complete by (1/(1/(12*8)))*2/6=12*8*2/6=32 men.
we have already 8 men then we required 32-8=24 men.

M1D1/W1=M2D2/W2
8(12)/1= (8+X)*6/2
=24
