Sugar solution = 6 litres
concentration of sugar is 4% which is about 0.24

since 1 litre water has evaporated still same amount of sugar will remain in the solutions of 5 litre
so concentration now is 0.24 / 5 = 4.8 %

Answer for 1 is (c) 4.8 %

in the same approach
salt % = 150g of salt in 75% of water remaining
150/7.5 = 2 %

(6*4)/100=6/25
so (5*X)//100=6/25
so x=4.8%

At first solution contains 5.76lt water and .24lt of sugar, after 1lt water evaporated the percentage of sugar in solution is (.24÷5)×100=4.8%
