let's take suresh's share = X, mohan's share = Y, shyam's share = Z
As given statement in the problem,
X = 1.25 Y = (5/4) Y
Y = 0.75 Z = (3/4) Z
we know that,
X + Y + Z = 516
(5/4) Y + (3/4) Z + Z = 516
(5/4) (3/4) Z + (3/4) Z + Z = 516
(15/16) Z + (3/4) Z + Z = 516
Z[(15/16) + (3/4) + 1] = 516
Z [(15+12+16)/16] = 516
Z (43/16) = 516
Z = 516 * 16/43 = 192
so, Shyam's share is Rs. 192

Suppose, shyam receives x rupees
then suresh receives 1.25x rupees
and mohan receives 0.75x rupees

So, total money received by all= 3x= 516 rs
Therefore x=516/3= 172 rs(shyam's share)
