Average age of the team=22
means, (p1+p2+...P11)/11 = 22
then sum of ages will be, (p1+p2+...p11) = 22*11 = 242.

now age increased by 1 when including coach's age then
The average will be ,

(p1+p2+....p11+c1)/12 = 23.

now the sum of their ages including the coach will be, ( p1+p2+...p11+c1) = 23*12 = 276.

now sum of ages of players = 242
sum of ages including the coach = 276

coach age = 276-242 = 34

If age of coach be 'x' years, then new average=(11*22 +x )/(11+1) =(22+1)
x=12*23 - 11*22 = 34

total age of 11 players. = 11x22=242.

let "x" is the age of coach then the avg age :
(22+1)= [(242+x)/12]
=> (23x12)=242+x
=> 276=242+x
=> x= 276-242= 34

After adding the coach age the average is 23 and 1 year is added in the age of each player.
therefore coach age is 23+11=34

avg of 11=22 and let sum of age be x
hence, x=11*22=242
coach age is added then,
(x+y)/12=23
=>(242+y)/12=23
hence y=34 // solving above equation for y
