more there is 3 queen card so, 13+3=16
then, 16/52=4/13

13/52 + 4/52 -1/52 =4/13

=13c1+3c1/52c1
=4/13
expln:
there will be 13 cards in each type(diamond,hearts,clover and spade)
here they have given, the diamond card has to be drawn, so we are selecting 1 card out of 13 cards.(i.e) 13C1
and there will be a total of four queens in 52 cards(1 in all the type). so if we are selecting 1 card from those 4, then the probability will be 4c1. but there are chances like, we can select the queen from diamond itself. therefore it will be 3c1
and since they hav given or as a connector , we should add both the possibilities.
P(E)=n(E)/n(s). here the sample space is 52 cards and we are drawing out 1 card from it so it will be 52c1.

52 cards we are selecting one = 52c1
diamond 13 cards =13c1
queen 3 cards(one goes in diamond set)=3c1
(13c1 + 3c1)/(52c1) =13+3/52=16/52=4/13
ANS : 4/13
