Let the incomes of Anil, Ram and Rishi be x, y and z respectively
Their savings after spending 80% , 85% and 75% are 0.2x, 0.15y and 0.25z respectively
As savings are in the ratio of 8 : 9 : 20
Ratio of savings of x and y is 0.2x/0.15y =8/9 , 3x=2y or x=2y/3
Similarly ratio of savings of y and z is 0.15y/0.25z=9/20 4y=3z or z=4y/3
As total salary x+y+z= 81000
So, (2y/3) + y + (4y/3) =81000
(2y+3y+4y)/3 =81000
9y= 243000
y=27000

So,
1/5x = 8 ---> x = 40

3/20y = 9 ---> y = 60

1/4z = 20 ---> z= 80

Ratio of their salary's = 40 : 60 : 80 = 2 : 3 : 4
Ram's salary = 3/9 × 81000 = ` 27000

Ans: Rs. 27000

After spending 80%, 85% and 75% , their savings are 20%, 15% and 25% of their salary respectively.
As ratio of savings=8 : 9 : 20, let their savings be 8x : 9x : 20x
We can say, 20% of A's salary= 8x, so A's salary=8x*100/20=40x
Similarly, 15% of B's salary=9x, so B's salary=9x*100/15=60x
25% of C's salary=20x, so C's salary=20x*100/25=80x
As total salary of A, B and C is 81000 Rs.
=> 40x+60x+80x= 81000
=> x=81000/180= 450
So, B's salary=60x= 60*450= 27000 Rs.
