First month consumption - x
second month consumption - x
3,4,5,6 month consumption - x/2
total - 4x
4x - half of lake capacity
x/4x = 1/4 is the share of 2nd month, in the half capacity of lake
so 1/8 is the share of 2nd month in full capacity lake

Total volume of lake= v
First month consumption = x
Second month consumption = x
Next 4 months consumption = x/2
remaining water in lake after 6 months of consumption = v/2
v/2=(x)+(x)+(x/2)+(x+2)+(x/2)+(x+2)
v=8x
second month usage : total volume of lake = x : v
= x : 8x
= 1:8
Answer = B
