let, slower horse takes X hrs.
and faster horse takes X-5/6 hrs.
faster horse reaches 5/6 or 50 min. before the slower horse.
now, faster horse speed, S1
and slower horse speed, S2
as speed,= distance/time
S1= 50/X-5/6.......(i)
S2= 50/X........(ii)

ATQ: 50/S1+S2=1
50/(50/X-5/6)+(50/X)=1
x=5/2 or x==1/3
now, we will put the value 5/2 in equation (ii),
S2=50/5/2=100/5=20
so, slower horse speed is 20 kmph..ans
