When C completes 100 units, B completes 80 units and A finishes 80*(140/100)=112 units.
So ratio of work of A, B & C = 112 : 80 : 100 = 28 : 20 : 25
Therefore ratio of time = 1/28 : 1/20 : 1/25 = 25/700 : 35/700 : 28/700 = 25 : 35 : 28
Let they takes 25x, 35x & 28x days to complete the work, then 28x - 25x = 6
=> 3x = 6 or x=2
Thus A, B & C takes 50, 70 & 56 days respectively.
So answer is 70 days.
