In a 3-digit code (digits from 0 to 9), when all digits are different , possible combinations are 10x9x8=720
As he gets correct code in his last attempt i.e. 720th.

According to the question, tom gets the correct password of 3 digit number. and all number are different which means we have to apply the permutation and combination concept.
given numbers are between 0 to 9.
in this, there is no repetition of numbers.
so according to concept
10*9*8=720
so the code is 720
