If the original Price=100 & Quantity=100
New price of Petrol=125
But price to be spend=115
So we need to find how much % the 115 is of 125, which is 115*100/125=92%
So the Quantity need to reduce=8%

8%...c be cost he spend in first case p be the price of petrol initially...so quantity he get in first case =c/p.......now cbecomes c+15*(c/100)and p becomes p+(p/4)so quantity = new c/new p=(115c/100)/(5p/4)=115c/125p.....% reduce in quantity=(((c/p)-(115c/125p))/(c/p))*100=8%

let us suppose the price was initially 100 rs..so it increases by 25% so now the price wil become 125..
but rajesh can only spend 15% more on petrol means that he can now pay rs 115 only..
so remaining price =125-115
so % in quantity to reduce =(10/125)*100=8%
