6b+8g=1/10(1 day work) ------>(I)
26b+48w=1/2 -------->(II)

Divide both sides by 2 in (I) and multiply both sides by 5
now we get
15b+20b=1/4
so ans. is 4 days.

There is no use of (II) equation.

suppose 1 boy can complete the work in x days and 1 girl can complete the work in y days
Therefore, 6x + 8y = 1/10 (1 day work for 6 boys and 8 girls)
and 26x + 48y = 1/2 (1 day work for 26 boys and 48 girls)
now, on solving the above two equation we get
x= 1/100 and y= 1/200
thun on putting the value of x and y in 15x+20y we can get the ans i.e. 4 days

6boys & 8girls 1 day job=1/10
26boys & 48 girls 1 day job=1/2
so, 6b+8g=1/10
& 26b+48g=1/2 solve htese 2 equation you will get b=1/100 & g=1/200.
then look in question they are asking for 15 b& 20 g so,(1/15/100)+(1/20/200)=4 days

10(6b+8g)=2(26b+48g) (equal work done by both)
solving this equation, we get 1b=2g
substituting value in 26b+48g=2 days
ie. 100g= 2 days
hence comparing 50g will take 4 days

26x+48y=2
by solving x=5.8 y=-3.1
15x+20y=
15(5.8)+20(-3.1)=15 days

60b+80g=52b+96g ratio becomes b:g 1:2

60(1)+80(2)= 220(work)
(15(1)+20(2))x=220
by solving dis we will get answer 4
