The difference in amt is due to investment only.
so they received Rs 1480 and 660 out of half the profit of Rs 2140.
so total profit = 2*2140 = Rs 4280 or Rs 4300 approx.

let the profit for abhishek is x and aish is y then total profit is x+y
(x+y)/2 is put in business efforts and (x+y)/2 is put in investments
so (x+y)/4 is amount received by each of them for business efforts
abhi gets 37/107(x+y) from the other half and 33/214(x+y)
now atq (x+y)/4 + 37/107(x+y)=(x+y)/4 + 33/214(x+y)+ 820
solving it we get (x+y)=4280 so ans is 4300

Let the profit is P.
they divided into half so, p/2 and p/2 .
half of the profit they divided equally so they got p/4 and p/4, and other half of the profit divided into the ratio.
(740/1070)*(p/2) + (p/4) = (330/1070) * (p/2) + (p/4) + 820
after solving this you will get 4280 and we will have to take round of to nearest multiple of 50 ; so , 4300 Rs.
