Ans=17.81%
If pass marks across all the subject is same & Ashok just passes, then his lowest marks=29, will be the minimum pass marks.
Total of minimum pass marks=29*6=174 and
Total Marks Ashok scored=32+29+40+36+33+35=205
So excess of % than the pass marks=205*100/174 - 100= 17.81

Pass marks = 29 .......(as 29 is minimum).

so total excess marks in all 6 subjects = 3+0+11+7+4+6 =31

percentage by which Ashok have exceeded the pass marks = 31/6 = 5.17 %
