as given total no of flag red= 38 blue=20 and both color=13 and neither red and nor blue=8


so if subtract both colors flag from red than only pure red color flag = 25

and if we subtract both color flag from blue color flag than pure blue color flag=7

and than total flag= red +blue + both color+ neither red nor blue flag

so the total flag is = 25+7+13+8
= 53

taking 2 sets of flags;red & blue and their intersectn.
intrsectn has 13 7total flags wid red color r 38,so flags dat r nly red=25
similarly flags dat r nly blue=20-13=7
considering the universal set apart from blue n red flag=8 so no of flags included in stdy=25+13+7+8=53.
