414/9=46 which is mean.... so 42,43,44,45,46,47,48,49,50

Ans - 50 page
solution - Lets he reading first days = x page
then second day = x+1
third day = x+2
fourth days=x+3
fifth days = x+4
sixth days = x+5
seventh days = x+6
Eight days = x+7
Nineth days = x+8
then add total
9x+36=414
x=414-36/9
= 50 page
so last day he reading 50 page

An arithmetic series of 9 terms and difference of 1 with sum 414
If a=first term then,(9/2)(2a+8*1)=414 or a=42
And 9th term=42+8*1=50
So on last 9th day pages read=50
