bcoz
each year have 365 days so 365/7 =1 remainder means there is one odd day in a year.... suppose there is sunday on 1 jan 2009 then on 1st jan 2010 there must be MONDAY...

on14 feb 2005 there was Monday
on14 feb 2006 there was Tuesday
on14 feb 2007 there was Wednesday
on14 feb 2008 there was Friday bcoz this was leap year which contain2 odd days.
on14 feb 2009 there was Saturday
on14 feb 2005 there was SUNDAY.......... :)

14/2/2005 is a Monday
So, from 1/1/2005, days till 14/2/2005 = 31 + 14 = 45
45 mod 7 = 3

Let us say
Saturday = 1
Sunday = 2
Monday = 3
Tuesday = 4
..
Friday = 7

Now, 14/2/2010 is 365*5(1/1/2005 to 31/12/2009) + 1(as 2008 is a leap year) + 31(jan 2010)+14(feb 2010) = 1871 days from 1/1/2005
1871 mod 7 = 2

So, if 3 = Monday, 2 = Sunday
So, 14/2/2010 is a Sunday!

From Feb. 14, 2005 to Feb. 14 2006, there will be 365 days which means one odd day. So,
FEB. 14, 2006 WILL BE A TUESDAY
From Feb. 14, 2006 to Feb. 14 2007, there will be 365 days which means one odd day. So,
FEB. 14, 2007 WILL BE A WEDNESDAY
From Feb. 14, 2007 to Feb. 14 2008, there will be 365 days which means one odd day. So,
FEB. 14, 2008 WILL BE A THURSDAY
From Feb. 14, 2008 to Feb. 14 2009, there will be 366 days –
- add one more odd day for Feb.29. Total is 2 odd days. So
FEB. 14, 2009 WILL BE A SATURDAY
From Feb. 14, 2009 to Feb. 14 2010, there will be 365 days –
one odd day . So
FEB. 14, 2010 WILL BE A SUNDAY
