29th of month comes 12times in a leap year,
29th of month comes 11times in a non leap year,
Number of leap years in 400 years = 400 / 4 = 100 leap years,
So, 100 * 12 = 1200 times,
Remaining non leap years in 400 years = 300,
So, 300 * 11 = 3300 times,
Hence Total number of times = 1200 + 3300 = 4500 times...

There are leap years every 4 years, approximately, with 3 exceptions in a 400 year cycle: years divisible by 100 but not by 400 like 1800, 1900, or 2100. So there are 97 leap years in a 400 year cycle, therefore 97 February 29ths.

The 29th of each month occurs for every year, so there are 11x400 = 4400 29ths for all other months.

The total number of 29ths in a 400 year cycle is therefore 4497
