since vendor kept 2 kg on the right side and weighed 4 apples on the left side and
when weight and apple were exchanged no of apple were 14.so he has kept a hidden weight on left side.
solution
let hidden weight be x kg
2kg=xkg+4apples-(1)
2kg+xkg=14apples-(2)
solving (1)&(2)
we get xkg=5apples
therefore for 2kg she gets 5+4=9apples

let addition weight is x kg.
4Apple+x=2kg
14apple=2+x kg
14A-x=2kg

solving 2 eq we get,
18A=4kg
9 apple=2kg.

Let the additional weight on the left side be x.
Let the average weight of an apple be a.

x+4a = 2kgs
x+2 = 14a

Solving, a=2/9kgs.
Hence for 2 kgs she should have got 2/2/9 = 9 apples.

to balance the weight we have to add 2.5kg weight on right side..
so ans =9
