(a+b)'s one day work=(1/10+1/20)=3/20
according to the ques B alone did the work in last 2 days so B's 2 days work=2*1/20=1/10.
(1-1/10)=9/10 is the work which A and B together did.
no. of days=(9/10)/(3/20)=6.
total days=6+2=8 days.
ans:8 days.

Let assume the total work to be making 20 documents, A can do 2 everyday and B 1 everyday, it is given, after A left B took another 2 days to complete the work.So, B alone made 2 documents at the end and A and B together made 18 documents. So, as both of them can make 2+1 =3 documents per hour, they would have taken 6 hours for 18 documents. So, total time = 6 +2 = 8 hours.
