total 16 children's are standing in a row.
13-5=8(which is equal to radius), and diameter is (2*radius), i.e, 8*2=16

Here , logically the 5th person is standing opposite to the 13th person so on numbering from fifth to 13th we have to insert all the no between five to thirteen
so in this half we inserted sven no lying between 5 and 13.

similarly in next half we have to insert seven no more that will last in sixteen.

The answer is 16.
If you draw a circle and put student 5 at the "3 o'clock" position and student 13 opposite at the "9 o'clock" position this will set up your circle. That means there are 16 children

5th person is opposite to 13th person so there will be 7-7 persons on their both sides so there will be 7+7+2=16 persons

in between 5 and 13 there are 7 people thats why 7*2=14 and 14+2=16.
