75 men
As 40% work by 50 men is completed in 25 days,
The whole work can be completed in 25*100/40=125/2 days
So 1 man, 1 day work=2/(125*50)=1/3125
50 men,25 days work=25*2/125=2/5,
The remaining work(=3/5) is to be completed by 50 men+ 'x' men in next 15 days (Total 40 days),
So 15[(2/125)+(x*1/3125)]=3/5
750+15x=1875, x=75
