First he saw 16 miles mark.
After 1 hr, he saw 61 miles mark.
After another hour, he saw 106 mile mark.

If 1st two digit number=10x+y, 2nd two digit number=10y+x
Difference=10y+x-(10x+y)=9y-9x
The same difference will be in 2nd & 3rd number,so 3rd number=10y+x+9y-9x=19y-8x
If the 3rd number is the number between 101 to 109,y=6,x=1,satisfy the condition
So the 1st,2nd & 3rd milestones are 16,61,106 with difference of 45
