2^2-2=2
3^2+3=12
4^2-4=12
5^2+5=30
6^2-6=30

so next two 7th=(7^2+7)=56 & 8th=(8^2-8)=56

ans 56

answer is 56.

given series is 2, 2, 12, 12, 30, 30,........

we know about the natural numbers 1, 2, 3, 4,.....
so, the series works in following way.

1 * 2 = 2
2 * 1 = 2
3 * 4 = 12
4 * 3 = 12
5 * 6 = 30
6 * 5 = 30
7 * 8 = 56
8 * 7 = 56

so its simple and our required ans is 56.

Look upon the series carefully
2,2,12,12,30,30,.........

1^1 + 1 = 2
2^2 - 2 = 2
3^2 + 3 = 12
4^2 - 4 = 12
5^2 + 5 = 30
6^2 - 6 = 30
Similarly
7th term will be(7^2+7)=56 &
8th term will be(8^2-8)=56

answer will be 56

so that we get.,
write all the terms twice..
2^2-2=2
4^4-4=12
6^6-6=30
8^8-8=56

as sum of 1st and 8th is equal to sum of 2nd and 7th ....and so on!!!

56 because the series is incremented by 10, 18, 26 and incremented takes place after two same no.

4^2 6^2 10^2 18^2
4 6 10 difference is 2 and 4 so again 2 and 4 is in 2*2 so next term is 4 and again from that next series is 4*2 so 8 and again 8*2=16 therefore 18+16=34 and is 34^2 gives 1156.
