Let M nd A be the current ages of Maria nd Angelica
Given

(M + 7) = 4( A + 7)
M = 4A + 28 -7
M = 4A + 21 ---->(1)

Given
M + A = 71
M = 71 - A ---->(2)

Equate d 2 equations
v ll get

71 - A = 4A + 21
A = 10

M = 71 - A
M = 71 - 10
M = 61

Present age of Maria = 61
Present age of Angelica = 10

After 5 years

Maria = 61+5 = 66 years
Angelica = 10+5 = 15 years
