16 men's 1 day work = 1/16
1 mens' 1 day work = 1/16*16= 1/256

16 men's 4 day work = 4 * 1/16 = 1/4

Remaining work = 1 - 1/4 = 3/4

8 more persons joined ...
(16+8) person's 1 day work = 24 * 1/256 = 6/64 = 3/32

They ll finish d remaining (3/4) part of d work in

3/4 * 32/3 = 8 days

8 more days needed to finish d remaining work

work done by 1 man in 1 day = 1/256
work done by 16 men in 4 days = 1/4
work done by 24 men in 1 day = 3/32
days to complete 3/4th work = 32/3*3/4 = 8 days

16 men can do work for 16 days
lets 1 men can do 1 unit of work in 1 day
16*1 =16 unit daily work of all 16 men
total 16 days work=16*16=256 units
first four day 16 people can do work
work completed in 4 days by 16 people 16*4=64 units
remaining work =256-64=192 units
now 8 more men joined total 24 men now they daily do 24 units of work
days=remaining work/daily work
192/24=8 days

For thise we need to use measurement of work I.e work = person ×day.
16M -->16 days.
Now here befor 4 days only 16M were work.so
16M --> 4 days.
After 4 days 8 person joined tk him ,so tatal number of person will be =24M.
24M--> ?. Now.....we concluded that
16M×16day=16M×4day+24M×D.......(D is required days)....solve it as usual..we get
192M=24M×D
D=8 days.🙏
