Number the alphabets from A to Z like A=1, B=2, C=3 ..M=13..... Z=26etc. then consider only the digits at unit place. A=1, B=2 ... M=3, Z=6

Then
MANGO = M+A+N+G+O = 3 + 1 + 4 + 7 + 5 = 20
ORANGE = O+R+A+N+G+E = 5 + 8 + 1 + 4 + 7 + 5 = 30

similarly
PINEAPPLE = P+I+N+E+A+P+P+L+E = 6 + 9 + 4 + 5 + 1 + 6 + 6 + 2 + 5 = 44

mango=13+1+14+7+15=50-30=20
orange=15+18+14+7+5=60-30=30
pineapple=16+9+14+5+1+16+16+12+5=94-30=64

I think both 44 and 72 are correct /possible solutions.

ANS : 72
MANGO = 5(A) words, 20/5 = 4(B), A x B = 20
ORANGE = 6(A) Words, 30/6 = 5(B), A x B = 30
Ratio = 4:5, 5:6,...8:9
PINEAPPLE - 8 x 9 = 72

orange=5*6=30
then
pineapple=5*8=40
