ans : the speed of the boat in still water is 10 km/h and the speed of the stream is 2km/h.
explaination :

let the speed of the boat in still water be x km/h and the speed of the stream be y km/h.. speed upstream=x-y and speed downstream =x+y

time taken cover 24 km upstream and 36 km download stream can be written as
24/(x-y)+36/(x+y)=6
similary
36/(x-y)+24/(x+y)=6.5
solving we get 1/(x+y)=1/12
and 1/(x-y)=1/8
so x+y=12
and x-y=8
then x=10 and y=2

ans: 2Km/hr;
let speed in upstream be x km/hr,speed in downstream be y km/hr
According to ques:
24/x + 36/y=6-----(1)
36/x + 24/y=6.5----(2)
Solving 1 & 2
x=8,y=12
Velocity of Current=1/2*(Downstream velocity-Upstream velocity)
=1/2*(12-8)=4/2=2 Km/hr
