28383rd term will be 3

There are 9 numbers starting from 1 to 9. It means we have 9 digits.
Number of digits from number 10 to 99 are 90*2=180 digits.
Number of digits from number 100 to 999 are = 900*3=2700 digits

Total number of digits from number 1 to 999 are = 9+180+2700 = 2889 digits

Therefore remaining number of digits are = 28383-2889=25494 digits

Now, we move on to 4 digits numbers starting from 1000 to 9999.
Number of digits will be=9000*4=36000

It means the 28383rd digit will lies between 4 digits numbers.

number of 4 digits terms in (28383-2889)=25494 digits are = 25494/4= 6373 complete digits and 2 digits also(bcoz 6373 will be quitent and 2 will be remainder)

6374 number will be 7373
It means 3 will be the 28383rd number.

number 6374 lies between 1000 .........9999

using A.P we can find out it easily.

An=a+(n-1)d
= 1000+(6374-1)1
= 1000+6373
=7373

cannot be found readily if the sequence is 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1,0,1,1,1,2,...
but, if the seq is 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,...
then it is in A.P ans the 28383rd term will be 1+28382=28383.
