the ans is qjsvzm..the first letter "r" is replaced by the the previous letter...the next letter "i" is replaced by the next letter and so on.

The sequence is as follows:

We use the just previous and just after alphabets alternatively..For the first case the previous alphabet of 's' is 'r',then the alphabet next to 'e' is 'f'.And so on.So the answer of 'ritual' is 'qjsvzm'

"ritual " is coded as "qjsvzk" each letter which is an odd position , write its code is one letter less than current letter and each letter which is an even position , write its code is one letter more than current letter .

looking at the last two words their code letters are +1 meaning their coded letters are successors og them

similarly RITUAL

L-1= K
here on doing so the second last is -1 so the last will be also the same .
therefore the answer is QJSVZK
