Horlicks ratio in 2 Jars

2/(2+3)=2/5 -------------------------------------4/(4+3)=4/7

--------------Horlicks in resulting mix=1/2------------------

4/7 - 1/2 = 1/14--------------------------------- 1/2 - 2/5 =1/10

Reqd. ratio ll be 1/14 : 1/10
10 : 14
5 : 7

Ans : 5:7

let we combine the combinations in ratio a:b
so in new combination,
horlicks=(4a/7)+(2b/5)
water=(3a/7)+(3b/5)
so equation will be
(4a/7)+(2b/5)=(3a/7)+(3b/5)
on solving we get
a:b=7:5

I think they are to be combined in a ratio of 3:3 :P
horlicks= 4x+3x=6x
water= 2x++3x=6x
half of both
