Let total work is 96
J's 1 day work =96/16=6
P's 1 day work=96/24=4
(J+P+H)'s 1 day work 96/8=12
so H's 1 day work=12-6-4=2 unit
means H take 96/2=48 day

j's 1 day work=1/16
p's 1 day work=1/24
so in 1 day j&p can together do (1/16)+(1/24)=5/48 part
in 1 day j,p &h together can do 1/8 part
so h's 1 day work =(1/8)-(5/48)=1/48
so h can do whole work in 48 days
Ans:48 days

workdone by j=1/16
workdone by p=1/24
workdone done all j,p,h =1/8
workdone by both j,p =(1/16)+(1/24)
therefore,workdone by h =(workdone by all)-(workdone by both j,p)
=1/8 -(1/16 + 1/24)
=1/48
therefore the total no of days taken by H is 48 days.....

j can do work in 1 day is 1/16
p can do same work in 1 day is 1/24
All three can same work in 1 day is 1/8
so,H alone can do same work in 1 day=(1/8)-(1/16-1/24)
Then for 1 day H alone can do it in 1/48 work
so,H can do same work can be done in 48 days

J complete the work in 16 days
P complete the work in 24 days
and J+P+H complete the work in 8 days
work=LCM(16,24,8)=48
So, Efficiency of J=48/16=3
Efficiency of P=48/24=2
and Efficiency of J+P+H=48/8=6
then Efficiency of H=6-(3+2)=1
so,H complete the work alone in 48/1=48day

p,s work=1/24
(j+p),s work=(1/16)+(1/24)=5/48
(j+p+h),s work=1/8
h,s work=(1/8)-(5/48)=1/48
h,s work=48days

total work is converted into 48 units(lcm of 16,24,8)
then j`s one day work is 3units.p`s is 2 units and h`s is 1 unit.
3 unis will be 16 days is as 1 unitwill be? (3/1)*16=48

so,1/16+1/24+h=1/8
5/48+h=1/8
h=1/8-5/48=1/48=48days
