Sakshi can do a piece of work in 20 days. Tanya is 25% more efficient than Sakshi.

The number of days taken by Tanya to do the same piece of work = 20/1.25 = 20*4/5 = 16 days

T=1.25*S
=1.25*(1/20)
=1/16

Hence Answer is 16

Time taken by Sakshi and Tanya = 125 : 100.
Let x is number of days taken by Tanya.
Then, 125:100 :: 20: x
125/100 :: 20/ x
x=16
Therefore Tanya takes 16days to complete same work done by Sakshi.

means tanya can do the same piece of work 5 days before sakshi
thus 15 days will be taken by tanya

ans is 16 as 25 percent is 1/4.so tanya takes 4 days less than sakshi. hence 16.option b is correct

Sakshi's one day work=1/20
Tanya's one day work =(1/20 + 25% of 1/20) = 1/20+1/80 = 1/16.

So Tanya can complete the work in 16 days.

whereas tanya is 25% more efficient it means she can complete the work less no of days compare to sakshi ,25% more efficient means 5days before so 15is answer

taniya=(125/100)sakshi
In 1 day sakshi can do work 1/20part.
taniya can do a work in 1 day
taniya=(125/100)*1/20
taniya=1/16
taniya can complete the work in 16 days.hence (b) is the right answer.

=1.25*(1/20)

Tanya is 25% more efficient than sakshi that means she will take 25% less time than sakshi, so 25% of 20 is 5, hence, 20 - 5 = 15.
Another method, Sakshi: Tanya = 100: 75= 4:3. So when sakshi=20, tanya=15.
Cross checking, 20-15=5, (5/20)100=25%.
NOTE: There's a difference between Tanya being 25% more efficient than sakshi and sakshi being 25% more efficient then tanya, in the given case it is the former and not the later.

t=125/100=5/4
1/20*5/4=1/16
