gap between two strikes = 6/4= 3/2 = 1.5 secs

At 24 hours or 12 'o clock, the clock strikes 12 times.
there are 11 gaps.

time spent = 11*1.5= 16.5 secs

ans:198 sec
it takes 6 sec to strikes at 5:00
1st strike is negligible, we have 4 strikes in 6 sec.
so for 1 strike 6/4 sec=3/2sec(same as in the case of 9oclock)
total strikes in 24 hrs=2*(1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11)
=2*66
so required time =2*66*3/2
=198sec

=132
4s=6sec
8s=12sec
s=3.2
ans is
132*1.5
198sec
