Present age of blue be B
so given P+B=28 -------- 1

ie p-4 / B-4 = 2/3 ----- 2
solving eq 1 and eq 2
we get
p=12
B=16
4 yrs hence ratio of teir ages is
(12+4)/(16+4)=4/5

(2x+4)+4/(3x+4)+4
==>2x+8/3x+16
==>given 2x+8+3x+16=28
==>5x+24=28
==>x:1=4:5

let (p-4)/(b-4)=2/3......>(a)
also given p+b=28
=>p=28-b.......>(1)
put p= 28- b in (a)
(28-b-4)/(b-4)=2/3
by solving that we get
72-3b=2b-8
72+8=5b
=>b=16
then put bin (1)
we get p value i.e p=12
now required ratio is (p+4)/(b+4)
=(12+4)/(16+4)
=16/20
=4/5
Ans:4:5
