Let r be the radius of the sphere and also the distance between the centre of the cube and the center of its face.
Now volume of the sphere Vsp = 4/3(pi)r^3
And, the volume of the cube is Vcu = 8r^3 (side will become 2r for cube)
Ratio of volume of a cube to sphere will be 8r^3 / 4/3(pi)r^3 = 6/Pi = 6/3.14
