120 m is length if faster train passes man in slower train in 16 secs and not in 16 mins.

let length of 2 trains = 2x
Relative speed= 56-29 = 27 km/hr
= (27*5)/18 m/sec
= 15/2 m/sec
so, 2x/16=15/2
2x=120

A=29KMPH B=56KMPH
when the trains are going in the same direction then their relative speed will be (A-B)KMPH
SPEED=(56-29)=27KMPH
THEN we will convert it into m/sec so
27x(5/18)=15/2M/SEC
SPEED=LENGTH OF THE TRAIN/TIME TAKEN
15/2M/SEC=L/16SEC
L=(15/2)X16=120 METER

If its 16 secs ans is 120m if its 16 min ans would be 7200m (longest train in world :P)

i think it is 16sec not 16min,then only we can get 120m as the answer

relative speed (same direction)= 56-29= 27 kmph
two train(length unknown)
distance/time=speed
2x/16=27*5/18
x=120 mps
