from 3 pm wed to 4 pm friday it take 49 hours to make -7 to +8 = 15 minutes difference .
so the wrong part change per minutes =(49*60)/15=(49*4)=196 minutes
this impies that evry 196 minutes clock is being increasing its speed by 1 minutes so for 7 minutes it will takes 7*196=1372 minutes approx 22.86 hrs = 22 hr 49 minutes ...
so from 3 pm wed it takes 22hrs and 49 minutes to make zero minutes difference of being late =2:49pm pm thursday answer

from 3 pm wed to 4 pm friday it take 49 hours to make -7 to +8 = 15 minutes difference .
so the wrong part change per minutes =(49*60)/15=(49*4)=196 minutes

now converting 1372 min in hours we have 22hr 52min...(we do it by dividing 1372 by 60 where quotient is hour n remainder is min)

so from 3 pm wed it takes 22hrs and 52 minutes to make zero minutes difference at 1:52 pm on thursday

time from 3 p.m wednesday to 4 p.m. friday=49hrs
the watch gain(7+8)min in 49hrs
so 7 mins are gain in(49*7)/15hrs=22.86hrs=23.26hrs
means 2:26 p.m. thursday

Total time from 3 pm wednesday to 4 pm friday = 49 hrs

total time gained by clcok = 15 mins

so for 15 min change it takes 49 hrs
1 min change , 49/15 hr

7 min are to made up so 7 min change = (49*7) / 15 = 22.86 hrs = 22 hrs 0.86*60 min = 22 hrs 52 mins

ie clock is correct 22 hrs 52 mins after 3 pm Wednesday ie

15 00 + 22 52 = 37 hrs 52 mins - 24 00 = 13 hrs 52 min

so clock correct at 13 : 52 ie 1:52 PM on thursday
