he gets 5perct profit on 800
so, 105*x/100=800;
x=762rs (this is the cost prise of that product)
so,sp=888.88,cp=762;
profit earned without giving discount is
(888.88-762)*100/762 =16.65percnt profit he earned without giving the discount.

then the saving of A is 3x-(3x*4/9) =1.67x;
and for B is 4x-(4x*5/9) =1.78x;
so,the ratio is 167:178 (167/178=.93)

after every interval of 4 mins novice will be on its starting position i.e. 4,8,12,16,20,24....
after every interval of 6 mins professional will be on its starting position i.e. 6,12,18,24.....
therefore they will be always meet each othrs at starting location after every 12 mins i.e. 12,24,36....

you can also take LCM of both and multiply it by
2 for first meeting
3 for second meeting

.
.
n+1 for nth meeting...
