(#M40001028) TCS QUESTION New Keep an EYE Keep an eye puzzle Keep an eye puzzle

A vessel is in the form of a hollow cylinder mounted on a hollow hemisphere. The diameter of the hemisphere is 14 cms, and the total height vessel is 3 cms. Find the outer surface area of the vessel

Solution
this question is asked in TCS

height is 30 not 3..
This is the suggestion by SHRI KANT and is a good suggestion
on this basis
height of the cylindrical part = 30-14 = 16cm
so surface area of cylinder = 2*(pi)*(14)*(16)
and surface area of hemisphere = 2*(pi)*(14)^2
add and get the answer
