the answer are wrong
no. of methods to find first ball = 3
similarly no. of methods for second ball = 3
so answer for selecting 20 balls = 3^20

i think, in this question in options, 2 used is not multiplied number, it is square
so by checking first is (odd-even)^2 * odd = odd
but it is given even so it will be incorrect

the ans is 14. any no from 1 to 100 comes 20 times.so if base is 7 then the maximium no can be 66. the no 37,38,39,73,83,93 will not be counted.and they have six 3's. so total 3's will 20-6=14.
