if (a+b):(b+c):(c+a)=6:7:8 and(a+B+c)=14 then the value of c?

Solution
a+b=6k
b+c=7k
c+a=8k
on adding these 3 equation
a+b+c=21k/2
so c=9k/2,a=7k/2,b=5k/2
given that a+b+c=14 or 7k/2+5k/2+9k/2=14 or 21k/2=14 or k=4/3
on taking k=4/3, we get c=9*4/3*2 = 6
